Great pump, September 3, 2014
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
I’ve used a lot of different pumps and this is by far the best. It’s long stroke makes it easy to pump tires up fast. The extra large gage is easy to read and appears to be accurate within a couple of PSI when compared with other gages at 60 -80 PSI. The head works great on both presta and Schrader valves. The hose is extra long and everything appears to be high quality. The handles are the most comfortable that I have ever used. There is nothing on this pump that I don’t like. I’m very happy that I purchased it.

The Bentley of Bike Pumps, December 4, 2014

This pump is a luxury and by no means a necessity, but if you have a 0 to spend on a bike do not hesitate to purchase this! From top to bottom this is an amazingly functional work of art. The grips are made of over sized cork contoured to fit any sized hand. The stoke length of the shaft is insanely long(yes, yes, yes, I know…"That’s what she said"), I was able to fill a 700cc x 25 from flat to 120psi in 20 strokes. Besides only one piece of composite material(the grip handle the cork resides on) which is of the highest quality and the gauge the rest of the pump is fully aluminum in a sleek ad beautiful matte black finish. The tube is a very cool triangular shape which I’m sure is pointless to the functionality of the pumping, but makes it very easy to grip when you pick it up. The gauge itself is enormous, about the size of a coffee can(if not bigger) so its super easy to read in psi and bars(one thing of note is that the gauge is free floating, which is possibly designed that way to deal with temperature changes more accurately). It has extra large footing and lies true to the ground. The hose which is very flexible in all temps is extra long(I can fill my tires easily while my bike is still attached to the rack on the back of my Jeep). The head has only one port which magically self adjusts to either Presta, Dunlop/Woods, or Schrader without any hassle what so ever(can’t vouch for the Dunlop/Woods). Even though this is extremely well built and probably could take anything you throw at it or it itself for that matter, is not meant to be thrown around or abused in my book…seriously, after looking at it in real life I can’t imagine anyone would want to. Yes, it would have been awesome if it were U.S. made, but Germany is the next best thing(actually, anything but China is the next best thing). Get it if you can, hang it proudly in your sight of view, and use often. I know I said this was the Bentley of bike pumps, but if it were a cologne, it would probably be Sex Tiger.

Great pump for a family of daily riders, June 28, 2015
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
I was surprised the base is painted metal, not black plastic. I had been looking for a metal base, but bought this pump despite the fact the base looked like plastic because I have had good experience with sks products, and I like that it’s not hard to find replacement parts. It is very smooth on and off the valve stem, and feels solid when locked. It takes a little effort to lock the lever down.
